Fondant Modeling Class

Lots of new things going on with my dream to have an awesome bakery. First I finished my fondant class where I learned how to make all of these great animals and some neat tricks that will help me when people want sculpted characters on their cakes.  Second I just got my first wedding cake order for July for my uncle's wedding. It will be a multiple tier cake with black and purple on it. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet but they said I could be creative and make something unique. Third is boring I have to get something called a tax id so the government can take my money that I work for but my mom said I have to do it. Then she tells me I have to get insurance for my business too. What! that will cost more money and I will never be able to buy a fondant sheeter. The one I want is almost $2000 and I'm not even a quarter of the way there yet. O well - guess it is better to do it now and get everything right so I don't have to do it later.  Well at least tonight is kind of cool, I'm working on a cake pop order for 150 piggy shaped pops. I'm going to finish them by painting on the details. Fun!
