It is official- I'm 13! Yesterday at my birthday party (pretty cooling turning 13 on Easter) my parents surprised me with the mother of all bakery delivery bicycles! It has a giant basket in the front so I can hold anything from small cakes, pumpkin rolls to cupcakes and more. My mom and I are leaving now for Indy because I have to take and pass the Serve Safe food handlers certification program for the state in the next step of my bakery journey.  If I pass... my parents will let me expand slightly (from family and friends only) to our neighborhood, this would be while I work to get my kitchen certified by the state of Indiana, so I can sell to anyone. I know I still have a long way to go but it is "slow and steady that wins the race." This race to me is well worth winning so I will keep going.  Wish me luck!
